for project two, i chose to use BABEL as my film. I am studying the Tokyo scene because of the interesting path the camera takes. the scene is viewed from bird-eye level, eye-level and worm level so I have decided to animate this crazy path.

to take it to the next level, another interesting layer of this scene is mimic. the main character, a deaf girl, enters the the rave in downtown tokyo and begins to mimic the dance movements from the people around her. it is apparent and realistic that she feels the vibration of the music on her skin, yet the movie doens't do a very good job showing this.
